Announcements have apparently been made that a second series--tentatively titled An Idiot Abroad 2: The Bucket List--will be made and released in late 2011. This is taken mainly from a phone interview with Pilkington on The Richard Bacon Show on BBC Radio 5 Live on 1 February 2011. The new series will apparently feature Karl travelling the globe to take part in activities that are considered "things you should do before you die," hence a Bucket List. According to Gervais' online blog filming is already underway and will be released later this year.
